Day Dream

Beautiful flower, fragrance all around,
I am in valley or on cloud.
I heard a scream,
that broke my day-dream.
That’s my mom calling aloud.

By Misha

That's my daughter's maiden attempt at poetry (I prodded her to try) and I am the culprit, again.

She chose the picture from google search (she rejected the picture that I chose).

  10. Poetry seems to run in the family. It is a beautiful piece of writing, and that holds true regardless of age. We are all poets from birth, we just cloak ourselves with layers of prosaicness as we can grow up, till we can no longer find the poet any more. It is wonderful when a parent encourages the child to stay connected to her inner poet. Misha, you are one lucky girl and a lovely poet.
