Lord's Play!

Nature is Lord's playground...

Lord’s play
Hungry fire devours woods
Thousand red tongues

Thousand red tongues
Groves licked to ash
Oh! my nest!!

Oh! my nest!!
Smoke heralds death
Wings shield eggs

Wings shield eggs
Sky’s siren, Grey caps gather
Watery snouts

Watery snouts
There flows the ash
Lord’s play

  2. The poem reminded me of a story in Mahabharata in which Khandava forest is burnt from which four birds escaped by divine providence... This is deeply philosophical poem I must say...

    1. That's the best compliment I have received thus far. What more than the feeling that I become eyes of my readers and guide them through the whole idea. They also see and feel the same way!

I am honoured, grateful (actually I am short of words!).

      Thank you so much!

  22. Tragedy hidden in Lord's play, which contains its own remedy--not very consoling, to think it's whim-full!
