a woman...a being...and everything in between

Yes, eloquent, but sad....
Things are not always bright, dark is also part of life. Thanks for reading!
I hope science finds a way to restore every lost vision! Thanks!
Nice haiku...but why this negativity? Never thought this way....:)
I know it is little pessimistic, but accepting a life without vision can push you towards pessimism for a while.
specially love your first line..
Thanks for reading and appreciating!
Very well said and sad
Yes it is a little disheartening! Thanks for reading!
What could lift the seal and get the world moving again... I love me some mystery ;p
Coming to terms with the loss and searching for meaningful ways of existence. Many blind people have excelled in the fields of arts and music. Thanks Hazel!
What dusk is this that seals the world in perpetual darkness?
Blindness. When it happens to a person, it seals his world in an unending darkness. Thanks for visiting!
a little sad for me :)
yes, Jas, something difficult to empathise with. Thanks for visit!
I'd like to think that the blind could offer vision that extends beyond sight. A friend lost the sight in one eye recently. It is irreversible. I wrote him:just as beautifulno matter how many eyeslook upon the worldthanks for your visit and kind comments at my blog
Yes it is irreversible. One needs a lot of courage to come to terms with this loss. When I close my eyes for meditation, I experience an heightened sense of sound, and some how an overall increase in awareness. I think The blind do have that increased awareness.
This evokes a very different feeling about darkness.
Thanks for visit Reshma, even the idea of perpetual darkness is disconcerting .
Love it how you convey so much in just a few words !!!
Thanks Amrit, coming from a person who himself is master of the medium!
And you? How do you feel? Do you prefer the dark, or long for the day, Meenakshi?Lovely, but I suggest your drop 'When' :-)
I did, thanks for the great suggestion!Dark and light both have their importance, if day fill you with energy, dark soothes your fatigued body and mind and lulls you to sleep. Byt th perpetual dark is scary. Thanks a zillion!
Lovely... I like the photo that comes with it too,. Gives a new perspective to the post.Eliz
Hi Eliz, Thanks for your visit!I try to choose photographs very carefully, because they add depth and new dimensions to the words. I am grateful you recognized my effort.
Oh gosh that made me think ~ how difficult life must be for those who can not see. Very thought provoking haiku x thank you
It is! Thanks for this sweet encouragement.
I believe that perpetual darkness can really only exist when the attitude is perpetually dark! Day may never dawn physically for the blind, but there can be light within!
Couldn't agree more! Thanks for visiting!!
anger.. frustration.. fear...talking minds...emotions..
May it be replaced by optimism, thanks Debu!
Signs of Apocalypse. Impressive and powerful. :)
Excellently portrayed a glum moment.
Thank you so much, welcome aboard!
