True Reshma, every day becomes the same, gifts, cakes excite no more. We receive wishes sent over phones with routine thanks. I yearn for a a real birthday, that special day which doesn't come now.
As children, we blow candles in haste as we are excited about cake, gifts, friends. But when we grow up, we blow candles in haste as birthdays are no more than routine and pending jobs weigh us down.
Quite telling... like life, we celebrate aspects of death. :-) I've been writing my haiku on my blogspot blog. http://positivekismet.blogspot.com/2013/01/musings-trust.html Eliz
