Too busy!

Morning jog
Ears plugged to I-pod, no audience
For birdsong

Every morning while taking a walk, I observe people whizzing by, earplugs on, either talking on mobile or listening to synthetic music pouring out of mobile or I-pod. Totally oblivious to the beauty surrounding them, paying no attention to the wonderful orchestra composed by the ever happy-ever charming avian community, aptly supported by insects. Could there be a better stress-buster?

Running after life
Sans pause, too busy to live
What a pity

Unfortunate are those who are not delighted by chirping birds...for they are missing The Divine!

  9. Quite right. Many of us don't know the art of living. Being busy is not living. Every moment of life offers something to cherish ... something to make us pause and ponder. But, bound by busy, tight life, we fritter them away. It's most unfortunate.

    1. Yes Sir, though it is imperative to work and make progress in life but some balance in life has to be struck. The people who are closer to nature live far more happy and content life,

  10. We're so busy trying to exist that we don't spend time actually living. Yes, the birds are bereft of an audience nowadays.

All notes and symphonies have evolved out of nature. We have just copied them and made our own.
