Poetry All Around

Inside the four walls,

I think hard, plough every corner of mind,

it slips through my hand,

teasing, elusive, like grains of sand.

miffed with myself, annoyed with pen

desperate, cluttered, uncertain,

I step out in open.

melting me in its rays, golden sun has it

swirling around, heavy with its odour, air has it

swaying with its notes, merrily, trees have it

buoyed by its currents, flapping, birds have it,

Now, I see it in every speck of colour, in every sound,

like acorns scattered all around.

destined to sprout out of sojourn,

from the nature's womb, on its own, a poem is born.

  11. The beautiful process of creativity, how a poem is born within confined walls of brain and how the process paints the entire world with it's flavour.. you have described all of it beautifully Meenakshi..

I have once read that creativity is nothing but the ability to surprise..

    you have certainly done that..
