Nature Impartial

Nature impartial
Breeze caresses, storm erases
one and all

Casts an even eye
Destroying all that fires pride
O’ man, eat a humble pie

  5. Hi Meenakshi,
Wonderful portrayal of Nature's fury and wrath in the form of poetry. Humans can certainly learn a lot from nature, if only we shed our egos and inhibitions.
Liked this one. Keep posting :)

  6. Thanks Jay, Goddess Durga is nature personified. It is gentle as mother when comes to nurture but can become Kali, all powerful, all destroying when comes to teach man a lesson.

  7. Storms can leave so much devastation and suffering. It often allows us to come together and drop our pride. Insightful and beautifully written.

    1. Thank you so much! I know efforts you made to find out what haiku is just to appreciate my writings. This is rare and I will never forget this gesture of affection. You encouraged me on every step, writing, starting blog and then just keep doing it. If this not true friendship, what is!

a heart felt thanks and a BIG hug!
