Prayer

I heard the following Urdu couplet from one of my dear friends many years ago. It has stayed on with me since then. This is the couplet with its English version:

कुबूल होती है हर दुआ जो दिल से होती है,

मगर मुश्किल ये है के ये बड़ी मुश्किल से होती है.

Granted are the prayers that are sent from the heart.

But sending them from the heart…is a rare art.
