Tinted eyes
Lacquered nails, painted lips
Mask of conceit

Mask of conceit
Can't conceal despair, colours drain
Black and white

Beneath, broken promise, tears in
Tinted eyes

    Such a beautiful Haiku chain (in fact a Haiku circle, since the end ties up with the beginning). No amount of paint can change the real face that lies underneath. Beautiful!
