Hopscotch

Cloud-veiled sun on a break
Holds tiny hands, plays hopscotch
Happy shrieks in backyard

  1. Hi Meenakshi,

Wonderful Haiku, reminded me of those days of innocence when we used to play this game as kids.
    Truly, happy shrieks everywhere.
    Keep it up :)

    Regards

  10. I grow more and more jealous of your Haiku writing skills with every post of yours that I read :) I find it difficult to understand and conceptualize Haiku because I have trouble with syllables and forms with rules. So seeing you put together such beautiful verses with such apparent ease is lovely to read.

Also, congratulations on your Leibster nomination by Jahid :)

    1. Thanks Meenakshi, But you just start doing it, you will learn the syllable count and rules with practice.

Thank you so much, I was a pleasant surprise for me too.
